What Makes Us Special
At Kita Sockenläufer, we believe children learn best through experiences. That's why we offer a diverse program of regular activities and exciting outings. Whether at our weekly swimming lessons, at the children's theater, or on the playground – our children experience something special every day.
Our dedicated team regularly organizes outings to museums, cinemas, theaters, and special places in and around Berlin. This way, children playfully broaden their horizons and collect unforgettable memories.
Regular Activities
Swimming Lessons
WeeklyEvery week we go together with licensed swimming instructors to the public pool. Children learn to swim playfully and gain confidence in the water.
Children's Cinema
MonthlyOnce a month we visit the Spatzenkino – film screenings specially designed for little ones with age-appropriate short films.
Children's Theater
MonthlyRegular visits to children's theater performances foster imagination and creativity. Children experience stories live on stage.
Chess Club
WeeklyOur chess club promotes logical thinking and concentration. Even the youngest can learn their first moves here.
Creative Activities
DailyPainting, crafting, creating – every day there are creative activities where children can let their imagination run free.
Preschool
DailyTargeted preschool preparation for our older children (5-6 years) playfully prepares them for primary school.
Sports & Movement
DailyIn our movement room with climbing wall and on the playgrounds in Prenzlauer Berg, children can let off steam.
Playground Visits
Several times weeklyWe explore the many playgrounds in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg – every outing is a little adventure.

Museum Visits
Natural History Museum, Technology Museum, Children's Museum – we discover the world of science and history together.
Theme Parks
Special highlights like a visit to Legoland Discovery Centre or other child-friendly attractions.
Zoo & Wildlife Park
Trips to Berlin Zoo or Tierpark – experiencing animals up close and learning about nature.
Day Trips
Whether by S-Bahn to the water or by bus to the countryside – shared outings create lasting memories.
Annual Highlight: The Kita Trip
Once a year we travel together! The Kita trip is the absolute highlight of the year for many children. For several days we experience adventures away from Berlin, sleep together, and strengthen our community. An unforgettable experience that solidifies friendships and creates precious memories!
